Goldstone is a man made crystal, originally made by the Monks of Italy and comprised of Copper and glass. The Crystal is still reputed to have healing properties all along the lines of copper. Some sources speculate the connection between the making of the glass by the monks to act and process of Alchemy..... Which was a process of changing an item from one state to another.
